City of Hope Cancer Center is at the forefront of some of the nation’s most promising breast cancer research and treatment programs and conducting a number of promising clinical trials that are helping to redefine the standards of care for breast cancer patients at medical centers nationwide. This research involves establishing innovative breast cancer research protocols, including bone marrow transplantation (BMT), new anticancer drugs, radiotherapy, breast conserving surgery, gene therapy, immunologic treatments and quality-of-life studies.
